Scott 'Bo' Hunter - GM/Coach

Scott is from Fort Wayne. He began his playing career at age 5 at the Sports Club. He played on various travel teams and played HS soccer for Bishop Luers.

Scott graduated from IPFW in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Scott began coaching with Ted Sorg at the Sports Club helping build the foundation of the 2 time State Champion Fever ’91 boys. After assisting with that team, Scott joined Fort Wayne Citadel and coached in that program for 3 years before joining the Fort Wayne Fever in its inaugural year in 2003. Scott was the assistant coach for the State Champion and Regional Semi-Finalist ’91 girls when they were U14. Scott was then the head coach for these same girls in 2008 when they won their 2nd State Championship. Scott has 11 years of coaching experience and holds a USSF National "B" license.

In 2006 Scott became the treasurer of the Fever Academy. After working as a financial analyst at both Waterfield Mortgage and Raytheon, Scott joined the Fever as a full time employee as the General Manager in addition to his roles as the treasurer and coach.

Scott is also the head women’s soccer coach at Blackhawk Christian HS and in his first year he led the Lady Braves to the Sectional Final before losing 1-0 to the eventual State Finalist Snider Panthers. Scott will enter his 3rd season as the Lady Braves head coach in 2010 and truly enjoys the opportunity to coach at the HS level as well as his role with the Fever Academy.

Scott is married to Regina Hunter, New Haven Elementary teacher of the year in 2008, and the two of them have a wonderful little girl, Madeline, who turned 5 in February.
