Austin Reaves expressed gratitude for his time with the Los Angeles Lakers after the team was swept 4-0 by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the NBA playoffs on Tuesday. The 115-110 loss ended the Lakers’ season, and Reaves now faces a player option for the upcoming summer.
“I haven’t thought too much about it. I’m just taking it one step at a time,” Reaves said. “But I’m really grateful to be playing for this team.”
In the elimination game, Reaves put up 27 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks, shooting 8-of-16 from the field. The 28-year-old guard has been a key contributor for the Lakers since signing as an undrafted free agent.
