
Barcelona supporters mistakenly pelted their own team’s official bus with stones ahead of the La Liga match against Real Madrid, according to RMC Sport. The incident occurred before the 35th round fixture, scheduled for Sunday, May 10.
Reports indicate that one of the windows on the Catalan team’s bus was shattered as a result of the attack. It was later revealed that the Real Madrid bus was also targeted in a separate incident.
After 34 matches in the Spanish league, Barcelona sits at the top of the table with 88 points, while Real Madrid is in second place with 77 points.
In the previous round, Hansi Flick’s side defeated Osasuna 2–1, while Álvaro Arbeloa’s team beat Espanyol 2–0.
